NON-STANDARD CACHING  & FIREWALL  TECHNICAL PROVISOS On the occasions of  nonstandard or non-conforming implementations of web page caching functions by LOCAL Internet Service Providers (ISP's) or hyper strict user firewall configurations; be advised the "REAL-TIME CONTENT UPDATES" may not be immediately reflected at the updating browser. The vast majority of ISP's do not implement such technologies. Some ISP's do this to save money and optimize their web bandwidth. This does not mean that the content changes have not been implemented or that the software is not functioning. This only means that your LOCAL ISP or firewall is providing you with less than current information at your workstation. THE UPDATED INFORMATION WOULD BE IMMEDIATELY VISIBLE FROM ANY STANDARD AND CONFORMING BROWSER ELSEWHERE ON THE WWW. In the event of being delivered "old" content after a content update, be advised that the updated information should display after the caching server or firewall  either "flushes" or "expires" the older cached webpages/content in a short period of time. For clarification on this issue please contact PRONTOS TECHNOLOGIES.    How to test quickly your ISP/FIREWALL configuration... 1 - Press the UPDATE BUTTON on this page to update either the MESSAGE TICKER or SCROLLING NEWS text content. 2 - After SAVING the text changes review the text on either either the MESSAGE TICKER or SCROLLING NEWS section as appropriate to see if the changes have been reflected. If the text changes are reflected immediately you have passed the test.  If not your ISP may be utilizing non-standard caching servers to provide you with old content. Depending on your browsers configuration you may need to perform a [CNTL+F5] to assert a hard refresh on the browser. If after this the content changes are not reflected then either your ISP or a FIREWALL has implemented a nonstandard  configuration for your web access by providing you with old content.
